Quick discharge process

Because we know you are excited to go home once the doctor has approved to discharge, we  offer a quick discharge process at selected hospitals in our network to save your waiting time for final confirmation of coverage from FWD. 

For FWD customers who admitted in the hospital (IPD) or had a day surgery can request for a quick discharge process. Just follow these steps:

1. Fill out a ‘Quick Discharge Process’ form of the hospital and sign to acknowledge for any extra expenses or excess amount that will not covered by your insurance policy plan.

2. You can leave the hospital without waiting for the hospital to process claim and get final confirmation from FWD.

3. The hospital informs you the final bill via phone call or SMS. Your credit card deposit will be returned (if any) after the hospital receives the final confirmation of coverage from FWD.  

4. The hospital sends the billing documents from FWD to you via post, or you get it by yourself at the hospital depends on your option.
